Down day in Morzine…..

Been pretty mellow few weeks here in Morzine. Mixture of epic powder days and the odd day of slush and rain. Today was one of those days so to give me something to do I made this wee edit. Pretty much first time I have used the 5D for filming. Probably loads I did wrong so give me some heads up and pointers guys.

Work with Skiidy has been going really well, such a great job to have for the season. Met some really cool people out of it and the tips have been rolling in, made 150 euros in tips alone last week! But yeah, open mountain roads with Fat Freddy’s Drop playing you can’t go wrong. We all pretty busy over Christmas so we ended up having our Christmas feast couple days after and what a feast it was! Roasties, chicken and heaps of veg!

An Australian and a Kiwi fighting over a whole chicken!

First race of the season Puy St. Vincent coming up this weekend which I can’t wait for. Feels likes its been building up for ages! As its the first race of the season most racers will be there including all the top dawgs so may be a bit of a shock to the system going to race like after uni races. All the team have been arriving at the team crib today so its starting to fill up fast. Kyle is crashing here for few nights so good to see someone here from Edinburgh.

Napier Uni have their club holiday in Avoriaz next week to so can’t wait to get up there and have a bit of a shindig and make some turns with them! Going to be a very busy couple weeks though as we have the Sedrun race the weekend after next. Will try get another post up straight after Puy St. Vincent though.

Met up with Em, Mark and the gang for couple days riding before Christmas. Great to finally go riding with them!

The Aussie made us hike up and Alp with no reward of powder turns after..... never again!

Kimbra forgot her poles and due to the fact 'no pole steeze' isn't acceptable in the Alps (or anywhere as far as I am concerned unless ur under 6) she opted for the one arm look....
