Fox Glacier, New Zealand

I’m still stuck in Edinburgh and its been pissing down for the past week. Really starting to regret not going back to NZ this year but I am sure it will be worth it and I’ll be there next year for sure! Found this photo I took back in 2008 whilst on a road trip back to Christchurch with my mate from Treble Cone, Birgit. It’s really strange when you’re driving up to the car park as you are constantly passing signs saying ‘In 1945 the terminal face of the glacier was here.’ It really shows how quickly the glacier is retreating. This panorama really gives you an idea of that and the fantastic landscape that its leaving behind.
