First attempt of doing Time Lapses. Shot on a Canon S90 with an elastic band and a wee rock to hold the shutter. I know its possible to use the CHDK software to do this but didn’t use it this time. Few blips from birds etc here and there but I don’t have an ND filter to get extra slow shutter speeds. Sorry for the crappy upload quality. Music by DJ Reedo

The Auxiliary Crew
This is a project I am just completing for my final year project at Edinburgh Napier University. The aim of the project was to take a series of portraits of members of the auxiliary crew on the Isle of Harris and Lewis but to focus on their day to day jobs. There is a great deal of media attention about the coastguard on the islands at the moment as government cuts mean that coastguard ops room is facing closure. Here are some of the images.
